Overview

To be responsible for all financial management and student registration. To assist the Centre Manager and the senior  team in all aspects of office administration at the designated summer school.

The role of Office Manager is directly concerned with the welfare and administration of overseas junior students, their money and important documents. This requires the post-holder to take overall responsibility for the financial and administrative management of the course and manage a small office subject to high-volume and high-pressured workloads.

Hours of work/contract type:
Your normal hours of work are 48 per week over a six day week. You may be required to work additional hours when requested to meet the needs of the business. This position involves working on weekends and other unsocial hours.

Remuneration:
From £370 to £430 per week

Qualifications
Essential
Educated to A level standard or equivalent
Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel
A good understanding of child welfare
Very good level of spoken and written English (CEFR  B2 minimum, e.g. FCE/IELTS 5-6.5)

Desirable
NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Educated to degree level standard
First aid / lifeguarding qualification
Driving license

Experience
Essential
At least 1 years’ experience in a an office environment
Experience working with young people

Summer School experience
Experience working with banks
